International Women's Day: Inspiring Inclusion

is on 8 March and is about inspiring inclusion and celebrating the achievements of women. It’s about raising awareness of discrimination and taking action to drive gender parity. We wanted to highlight some of the events and workshops on offer:
Portraits of amazing women at Sussex
You can see some of the inspiring comments and portraits that Sussex women have shared in  There will be an exhibition held during March in the Library to help raise awareness and showcase role models working at Sussex.
Advancing Women’s Leadership Special Interest Group (AWLSIG)
The Staff Development Forum’s (SDF) Advancing Women’s Leadership Special Interest Group (AWLSIG) is hosting their first online workshop of 2024 on Leadership and Empowerment on Tuesday 5 March 2024, 1pm-2.30pm. Please to register your place no later than 3pm, Friday 1 March 2024.

In this session, you will explore the mindset and the practical habits that are required to create and hold space. By doing so you will have greater clarity of thinking, make more effective decisions and develop a stronger presence.

Uncovering and Celebrating ADHD and Autism in Women
