Module details for 2022/23.
30 credits
FHEQ Level 7 (Masters)
Module Outline
This module provides an introduction to how migration is managed by national governments and international organisations and how political and legal processes and frameworks shape governments' attempts to manage migration. You will develop an understanding of the theoretical frameworks and models used by researchers to explain migration policymaking, as well as an empirical knowledge of the main patterns and trends in migration policies.
