Module learning outcomes

Demonstrate a clear, systematic, in-depth and critical understanding of key concepts, theories and controversies in climate change mitigation and adaptation

Demonstrate systematic, in-depth and critical knowledge and understanding of the main features of international policy responses to climate change - both within and outside the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change

Deomstrate systematic, in-depth and critical understanding some of the key controversies about economic approaches to climate change such as valuation techniques, the use of economic instruments and the treatment of future generations

Critically evaluate climate policies at both national and international level.
Devise and sustain arguments that contribute to debates on climate change mitigatation and adaptation

Demonstrate systematic, in-depth and critical knowledge of commonalities and differences in experiences and responses to climate change across varied regional and national contexts
