In Outlook can I change where the sent copy of my outgoing email is saved ?

When you send an email a copy is normally sent automatically to the Sent Items folder.

If you wish to save the copy to a different folder, follow these steps:

  1. While composing your message, click on the Options tab.
  2. Click on the Save Sent Item To button in the More Options tool group.
  3. Click on Other Folder ... and choose the folder where you wish to save the copy.
When you next use this option you'll see a list of the names of folders you've previously used, and you can just click on one of them to re-use it.

Note: This functionality has been removed in New Outlook.
