In an Excel chart, can I have different Y-axis scales (a primary and secondary axis)?

Yes, in Excel 2013 and Excel 2016 you can have two axes.

Excel 2013 and Excel 2016

  1. Start by creating a chart with just one axis.
  2. Select the data series you wish to place on a secondary axis, by clicking on the series in the chart.
  3. From the Format tabCurrent Selection Groupcheck you have the correct data series selected and then click Format Selection.
  4. The Format Data Series dialog box will be displayed.
  5. From Series Options category, under Plot Series on, click Secondary Axis radio button and then click Close.
