Other academic libraries

  • SCONUL Access

    The  scheme enables academic staff and students to access the facilities at another university Library.

    Application forms, further details of the scheme and a list of participating institutions are available via the  website.

    How to apply: Complete the , which will be approved by us. You will receive a confirmation email with further details on how to use the scheme within 1 working day. If you have not heard back within 2 days of submitting your application, contact library.membership@sussex.ac.uk 

    Note: During the Spring term and busy study periods, many Univeristy libraries will restrict access to SCONUL users. Check with the institution before your visit.

  • University of Brighton

    You can use the  libraries for reference purposes by showing your ID card. Use  to search the both Sussex and Brighton collections.

  • The British Library

     have reviewed their access policy and you can now obtain a reader's pass without a letter of authorisation from your university library. For more details, visit their  web pages..

  • InforM25

    麻豆传媒社区入口 staff and students have access to many libraries in London. The  website allows searching by subject and indicates which libraries might hold items of interest. There is also a facility for cross-searching library catalogues from different libraries.

  • JISC Library Hub

     combines SUNCAT, for locating journals in UK university and college libraries, and COPAC, the combined catalogue of several major university libraries, including Cambridge, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Oxford, Trinity College Dublin, and parts of the London system. The catalogue provides details about access.
