About the project
is the Principal Investigator on the EPSRC/Cambridge (RDM in 3DP) project.
She is also the Co-Investigator for the and projects (led by Oxford, York and Sussex Universities), examining the regulation and governance models of cutting-edge biotechnologies including 3D bioprinting, gene editing and iPSC. The interdisciplinary research group on digital health and biolaw has been actively engaged in national and international governmental policymaking which includes the following activities:
- Working with the UK Parliament Office of Science and Technology (POST) on the Research Briefing March 2020.
- Taking part in European Parliamentary Research Service, European Parliament, Scientific Foresight Unit (STOA) (2018) PE 614.571
- Advising the for the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA).
- Sitting on the initiative which incorporates digital biofabrication in remote healthcare between the UK and Peru partnership (funded by the British Council, 2019).
